MIPI CSI-2 Interface
The industry standard for high-performance embedded vision.
Key Advantage
"Ultra-low latency and direct-to-processor connection without USB overhead."
Direct Architecture
Unlike USB or GigE cameras which require packet encapsulation and complex drivers consuming CPU cycles, the MIPI CSI-2 (Camera Serial Interface) connects the image sensor directly to the ISP (Image Signal Processor) of the host SoC.
Bandwidth & Efficiency
Our cameras utilize an adapted amount of D-PHY lanes for each model’s resolution (VGA, 1080P…), allowing theoretical throughputs of up to 10 Gbps. This architecture enables the transmission of high-resolution RAW video streams at high frame rates without bottlenecks.
For AI & Robotics
Direct Memory Access (DMA) via MIPI allows computer vision algorithms to access frames with near-zero latency, a critical asset for autonomous drone navigation and industrial robotics.
Ready for large-scale multi-camera deployment
This interface also avoids the bandwidth limits typical of alternative technologies (USB UVC, Ethernet) by placing each camera on a dedicated data bus that does not lose performance as it is not shared with other cameras.
